"I felt proud of my work" - Mercedes-Benz welcomes eight students from Horsham College

This past week, Mercedes-Benz Australia/Pacific has welcomed eight students from Horsham College.

We worked with the company to match students, based on their interests, with a range of different areas of the business - including Marketing, Human Resources, Training, Mechanical Engineering, Warranty and Compliance.

We really enjoyed visiting the students and their managers on Thursday and hearing about their progress.

Michael, who was welcomed into the Training team, told us he had managed to understand and communicate some quite technical information about a new vehicle. "We had to explain each piece so that the other departments would understand. I was good with the details - I felt proud of my work".

Nia was working on a project for the Marketing team within Mercedes-Benz Vans. "We searched feedback online and have used it to make recommendations for the marketing strategy. I'm giving my presentation this afternoon".

We look forward to sharing more students' observations and insights as we receive their feedback over the coming weeks.

Mercedes-Benz Australia/Pacific has now welcomed 26 Boundless students this year, from Shepparton's four public secondary schools, Keysborough College in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs, and now Horsham in Victoria's north-west.

We are incredibly proud to have this strong partnership which has given our students a powerful insight into their aspirations, their strengths and areas for improvement, and their opportunities to pursue a professional career.
